Senator Hassan Hosts Innovate NH Entrepreneurship Forum

MANCHESTER – In case you missed it, Senator Maggie Hassan yesterday hosted the second annual Innovate NH Entrepreneurship Forum to bring innovators and entrepreneurs together to discuss what it takes to start and run a successful business in New Hampshire, as well as how to address the challenges they face. The Innovate NH Entrepreneurship Forum, which was held at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College, included two panel discussions, the first moderated by Senator Hassan on workforce solutions for New Hampshire, and the second focused on innovation in the Granite State.

The Innovate NH Entrepreneurship Forum is a continuation of then-Governor Hassan’s work to expand economic opportunity and support job-creating businesses. As part of the “Innovate NH plan” she developed and implemented as Governor, Maggie Hassan successfully worked to strengthen the workforce by freezing in-state tuition at New Hampshire’s public colleges and universities, doubling the state’s research and development tax credit, providing businesses with technical assistance, and increasing international trade assistance. As Governor, she also launched the Live Free and Start initiative, which worked to support startups and help them access capital. As Senator, she is working to continue and build on those efforts.
