MANCHESTER – U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan and members of her staff joined Laura Landerman-Garber of Hollis, founder of the Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge, to make cards that will be sent to members of the military this holiday season.

“The Holiday Card Challenge continues to be an opportunity for Granite Staters to show our appreciation for the brave men and women who serve our country,” said Senator Hassan. “I am grateful to Laura for helping me and my staff take part in this Granite State tradition, and I encourage everyone to take some time this holiday season to thank our veterans and service members by writing a card.”

Laura Landerman-Garber said, “I am truly honored to gather together with Senator Maggie Hassan and her Staff to celebrate our cherished Troops, Veterans & their families! For seven years, the Senator has written heartfelt cards of cheer and care for our Warriors and she and Team Hassan have fully supported the nonprofit, Holiday Cards 4 Our Military Challenge. Furthermore, she has championed this mission across the Granite State and the Nation as well as embraced a lifetime of public service for our Military members.  It has been a spectacular and uniquely American story to have these opportunities with Team Hassan. Our motto is #sharethecare and that is exactly what happened yesterday!”

Last year, the Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge sent its millionth card, signed by President Biden. For more information on where to drop off holiday cards for the Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge, click here.
