MANCHESTER – Today, Senator Maggie Hassan visited Mentis Sciences, where she highlighted her commitment to supporting innovative businesses and building a stronger workforce in order to help expand middle class opportunity and boost economic development in New Hampshire.
During her visit, Senator Hassan toured the facility and met with employees. Mentis Sciences is an engineering firm that manufactures innovative products to support the Department of Defense. The company also provides a comprehensive internship program that focuses on engaging young Granite Staters in the STEM fields.
“Mentis Sciences represents the kind of innovative business that is creating good jobs and moving our economy forward while manufacturing products that strengthen our national security and support our military personnel,” Senator Hassan said. “I will continue working to strengthen our workforce pipeline in order to expand opportunity for hard-working Granite Staters and help innovative, job-creating businesses like Mentis Sciences grow and thrive.”

As a member of the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee and Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, Senator Hassan has cosponsored a number of bipartisan bills to help strengthen New Hampshire’s workforce and expand opportunity for hard-working Granite Staters, including the JOBS Act, LEAP Act, and Career and Technical Education (CTE) Excellence and Equity Act.
