Senator Hassan and Colleagues’ New Law Continues Efforts to Lower Health Insurance Premiums Under the Affordable Care Act; Has Saved Tens of Thousands of Granite Staters About $720 Per Year
WASHINGTON – Senator Maggie Hassan is urging Granite Staters to check for health insurance options and sign up for coverage during the open enrollment period, which starts today, by visiting HealthCare.gov.
“Quality, affordable health insurance is essential for Granite Staters to live healthy and productive lives,” said Senator Hassan. “As open enrollment begins, it is critical that Granite Staters take advantage of this opportunity to sign up for health care coverage. And even if you already have health insurance, open enrollment is a great time to look at your options. I encourage people across New Hampshire to go online and shop for coverage to find the plan that works best for them and their families.”
The Inflation Reduction Act that is now law extended provisions that Senator Hassan supported to lower health insurance premiums for Granite Staters and Americans who buy insurance through the Affordable Care Act marketplaces. This measure is saving tens of thousands of Granite Staters an average of $720 per year.
