Senator Hassan Announces Key New Hampshire Leadership Staff

WASHINGTON – Senator Maggie Hassan today announced two key New Hampshire leadership staff, naming Jennifer Kuzma to serve as State Director and Corey Garry to serve as Deputy State Director following the departure of State Director Mike Ollen.

“I am incredibly grateful to Mike for his service to the people of New Hampshire, and while he will be deeply missed in our office, I know that he will continue to serve our state with distinction in all that he does,” Senator Hassan said. “Jennifer has been an invaluable leader in both my Senate and Governor’s offices, and we are lucky to have her bring her deep experience and knowledge of the pressing priorities for our state into this new role. I am also thrilled to have Corey, who has served the residents of our second Congressional district so well over the past years, join our talented leadership team.”

“Our Senate offices in New Hampshire can support Granite Staters who need help with federal agencies or who want to share their views on issues that are most important to them, and I encourage people to stop by or reach out to our offices,” added Senator Hassan.

Since Senator Hassan entered office, Jennifer Kuzma has served as her Deputy State Director. She previously served as then-Governor Hassan’s Deputy Chief of Staff, as well as the Director of Appointments and Liaison to the Executive Council under Governors Maggie Hassan and John Lynch. Prior to that, Kuzma was the Executive Director of the New Hampshire Democratic Party. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire.

Corey Garry most recently served as the District Director for Congresswoman Annie Kuster (NH-02), and previously served as the Congresswoman’s Deputy District Director and Director of Operations. Before his time with Congresswoman Kuster, Garry worked in the Secretary-Treasurer’s Office at the AFL-CIO. Garry earned his B.A. from the University of New Hampshire and his M.A. in Politics from Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
