WASHINGTON – Senator Maggie Hassan released a video yesterday honoring New Hampshire residents who have been recognized as a “Granite Stater of the Month.” Recently, Senator Hassan had dinner with past “Granite Staters of the Month” recipients, where she commended them for all that they have done to help their fellow citizens, improve their communities, and build a stronger New Hampshire and United States of America.
The video includes remarks from a number of the “Granite Staters of the Month” who attended the gathering, including Retired Air Force Master Sergeant Lee Hirtle of Northfield, Laura Landerman-Garber of Hollis, Cassandra Levesque of Barrington, Dianne Paquette of Salem, and Jerry Lachance of Sandown.
Senator Hassan launched the “Granite Stater of the Month” initiative in 2017 to recognize outstanding New Hampshire citizens who go above and beyond to help their neighbors and make their communities stronger. To nominate a New Hampshire citizen to be a “Granite Stater of the Month,” constituents can complete the nomination form here.
