Senator Hassan, Laura Landerman-Garber of Hollis Participate in Annual Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge

NEW HAMPSHIRE – U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan joined Laura Landerman-Garber of Hollis, founder of the Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge, along with members of Senator Hassan’s staff, to make cards that will be sent to members of the military this holiday season.

“It was great to once again take part in this year’s Holiday Card Challenge, which has become a full-fledged Granite State tradition, and express our thanks and gratitude to those who are away from home during this holiday season,” said Senator Hassan. “I encourage all Granite Staters to take the time to connect with a service member or veteran by writing a card and showing our appreciation for their sacrifice.”

“Gathering together with Senator Hassan and her Staff, both in NH and DC, to write holiday cards for our Troops, Veterans, and Military Families has become a treasured tradition, one that brings joy to both the card signers and the recipients of these gifts of the heart,” said Laura Landerman-Garber, founder of Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge. “From Day #1, Senator Hassan and her team have supported my dream, one that started as a family tradition and now has become both a Granite State and national passion project.”

This year, the Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge is expected to send its one millionth card. For more information on where to drop off holiday cards for the Holiday Cards for our Military Challenge, click here.
