Senator Hassan Recognizes Schilling Beer Co. as December 2018 Granite Staters of the Month

WASHINGTON – Senator Maggie Hassan today recognized Dr. Bruce Cozzens, his sons Jeff, Stuart, and Matt; long-time friend John Lenzini, as well as Head Brewer Chris Deapo of Schilling Beer Co. as December 2018’s Granite Staters of the Month for their work to help those impacted by the Northern California wildfires.  

As the Camp Fire torched homes and communities, Schilling Beer Co. joined a national “Resilience” fundraiser spearheaded by Sierra Nevada Brewing. As part of the initiative, Schilling Beer Co. is joining breweries across the country to help brew the Resilience Butte Country Proud IPA – of which all of the proceeds will go to relief efforts in Butte County, California. Schilling Beer Co. also played an integral role by lending their trademarked name of “Resilience” to the cause.

Senator Hassan launched the “Granite Stater of the Month” initiative last year to recognize outstanding New Hampshire citizens who go above and beyond to help their neighbors and make their communities stronger.
