WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH) outlined today the key national security provisions that she secured and supported in the bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2023.
“As we continue to face a wide range of threats to the security of the American people, it is important that Congress pass this bipartisan bill to bolster our nation’s defenses,” said Senator Hassan. “As Republicans and Democrats negotiated this legislation, I worked to help secure key priorities for our country and for New Hampshire, including cracking down on illicit drug traffickers to help combat the opioid epidemic, closing loopholes that allow Putin to fund his unconscionable war, strengthening our supply chains, and supporting military institutions in the Granite State.
