Senator Hassan Statement on EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt

WASHINGTON – Senator Maggie Hassan released the following statement today on EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt:

“We have known all along where EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt’s priorities stand, consistently putting Big Oil and corporate special interests before our environment, the health of our people, and the vitality of our economy. Administrator Pruitt has pursued his anti-environment agenda while grossly misusing taxpayer dollars and seeking special treatment for himself. As our environment and communities continue to feel the very real impacts of climate change, which Administrator Pruitt refuses to confront, the American people – and our environment – deserve much better. It is time for Administrator Pruitt to resign.”
