Senator Hassan Statement on Former Trump Health Secretary’s Comments about GOP Health Care Sabotage

WASHINGTON – Senator Maggie Hassan released the following statement today in response to comments from President Trump’s former Secretary of Health and Human Services Tom Price, who admitted that the Republican tax bill’s health care sabotage measures will raise prices for consumers:

“Former Secretary of Health and Human Services Tom Price admitted what we have long known to be true – sabotage efforts from Republicans in Congress and the Trump Administration are raising health care premiums and squeezing hard-working people in New Hampshire and across the country. I hope that these comments will serve as a wake-up call to my colleagues across the aisle, and that they will join us in working to stabilize health care markets and lower costs for consumers.”
