Senator Hassan Statement on Passing of State Rep. Harold “Chip” Rice

WASHINGTON - Senator Maggie Hassan issued the following statement on the passing of New Hampshire State Representative Harold “Chip” Rice:

“New Hampshire lost a lifelong public servant and civic leader in Representative Rice, and my thoughts are with his wife Ann, family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. A U.S. Navy veteran, former State Senator, and State Representative for the Concord area, Chip devoted his life to bettering his community, state, and country. His passion and commitment to public service will be missed in Concord and across New Hampshire.”
