Senator Hassan Statement on the Death of Staff Sergeant Sherrill

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan released the following statement on the death of New Hampshire State Trooper, Staff Sergeant Jesse Sherrill who died in the line of duty this morning:

“Our hearts break at the passing of Staff Sergeant Jesse Sherrill who lived his life in service to the Granite State, and who did it with honor, dedication, and bravery. Tom and I extend our deepest gratitude and sympathy to his beloved family, his friends, and all the members of the New Hampshire State Police. New Hampshire has lost a true hero in the line of duty.”
