Senator Hassan Visits Cramer Fabrics in Dover to Highlight the Importance of New Hampshire Innovative Businesses

DOVER - Today, Senator Maggie Hassan visited Cramer Fabrics, an innovative New Hampshire business that is developing and manufacturing highly engineered industrial textiles for use across the globe. Senator Hassan received a briefing on Cramer Fabrics' work and a tour of the facility, where she learned about how Cramer Fabrics is partnering with education systems to strengthen their workforce.
"We know that supporting innovative businesses is essential to developing a 21st century economy where all Granite Staters have the opportunity to thrive, and Cramer Fabrics is helping to move New Hampshire's workforce and economy forward," said Senator Maggie Hassan. "I appreciated the opportunity to visit Cramer Fabrics and learn more about how they are partnering with local educators to encourage students to pursue careers in advanced manufacturing."

Cramer Fabrics produces high-quality, woven industrial fabrics with a vast array of synthetic yarn types that are used in everything from conveyor belts to aerospace parts. They also have an in-house training program and an apprenticeship program, where they encourage local graduates to pursue careers in the textile industries.
