Senator Hassan Visits Dyn, Highlights Importance of Supporting Innovative Businesses
MANCHESTER - Today, U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan visited the headquarters of Dyn, a cloud-based internet performance company, where she received an update on Dyn's pending acquisition by Oracle and highlighted her commitment to supporting Dyn and other innovative businesses in New Hampshire through her role on the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation and the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
"Innovative companies like Dyn are helping position New Hampshire as an emerging high-tech hub in our nation while creating good jobs that expand middle class opportunity and helping to move our economy forward," Senator Hassan said. "I look forward to continue supporting the success of Dyn in the Granite State in my role on the Senate Committees on Commerce, Science and Transportation and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs."
Senator Hassan's role on the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation and the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs allows her to work on critical economic priorities for New Hampshire's people and innovative businesses, including expanding economic opportunity for all hard-working Granite Staters and strengthening cyber security. This week, Senator Hassan voted to approve the Developing Innovation and Growing the Internet of Things (DIGIT) Act, a measure focused on encouraging innovation to benefit businesses, governments and consumers.
