Kennedy III (D-Mass.), Katherine Clark (D-Mass.), and Seth Moulton (D-Mass.).

The House companion to this resolution will be introduced by Congressman Neal this week.

"The Red Sox mean so much to the Commonwealth and to our communities throughout New England," said Senator Warren.  "I'm honored to represent the people of Massachusetts and I'm especially proud to congratulate the Red Sox players, manager Alex Cora, and the entire organization for an outstanding and historic season.  Go Sox!"

"October belongs to the Boston Red Sox, and now names like Mookie and Price and Sale and Cora and Pearce will be forever cemented in the lore of Massachusetts sports history," said Senator Markey. "The Boston Red Sox dedication to winning starts with players and continues through its manager and ownership, and I am proud of the team's commitment to excellence both on and off the field. I congratulate them on this world championship season, and celebrate that pitchers and catchers report in just three months!"

"On the field, the 2018 Red Sox proved one of the best teams in baseball history.  Off the field, they gave back to the greater New England community," said Senator Whitehouse.  "As a proud member of Red Sox Nation, I'm happy to congratulate them on another World Series title."

"This Red Sox team will go down in history, not just for winning the World Series, but for being one of the greatest Red Sox teams of all time," said Senator Shaheen. "Baseball in New England is more than a sport - it's a part of our culture. I'm thrilled to join with other Senators throughout the region to celebrate the Red Sox's exceptional season, and to pay tribute to the players and management who've made us all so proud."

"Watching the Red Sox win the World Series as the winningest team in the franchise's history was truly something special, and as a New England sports fan, this season is not one that I will ever forget," Senator Hassan said. "On behalf of my fellow Granite Staters, I am proud to join all of Red Sox Nation in congratulating the entire Red Sox organization on an amazing, historic season. Damage done!"

"I became a diehard Red Sox fan in 1978 and cried myself to sleep the night of Game 6 in 1986. I've had a lot of lows as a Red Sox fan, but what an amazing run since 2004. This team had such a dominating season, and I'm proud to honor their incredible World Series win," said Senator Murphy.

"Not everyone in Connecticut belongs to Red Sox Nation, but we can all agree that the Boston Red Sox had an incredible successful season. Throughout the year, the team demonstrated a sense of deep compassion and caring for their diverse community of fans, including supporting those in Puerto Rico devastated by Hurricane Maria," said Senator Blumenthal. "Yankees fans are looking forward to next year's rematch, but in the meantime, I join my colleagues in congratulating the Red Sox for bringing the Pennant back to New England."

"Since Spring Training, the Red Sox showed time and again that they were a special team," said Senator King.  "From the leadership of Alex Cora, to the positivity of Mookie Betts, to the exceptional performance of Steve Pearce in the World Series, the Sox had it all. It was great to watch their energy and charisma capture the hearts and minds of fans in Maine and across New England. Congratulations to the 2018 World Champions!"

"This was a thrilling season and World Series victory by the Red Sox," said Senator Sanders.  "Led by a core of exciting young players, the Sox' relentless offense set record after record, and was nearly matched by some outstanding fielding and pitching.  Congratulations to the Sox for once again bringing the World Series trophy back to New England."

"We congratulate our Red Sox on winning their fourth World Series Championship in the last 15 years," said Senator Leahy. "Vermont's proud to be an enthusiastic part of Red Sox Nation. The team record-setting 108 wins during the 2018 season and subsequent march through the playoffs and the World Series thrilled and rewarded fans throughout the Green Mountain State."

"Sports can bring people of all walks of life together.  The Red Sox do that across New England," said Senator Reed.  "This team was a special group - their teamwork, their personalities, and the passion they brought to the game created another historic season for Red Sox Nation."

"In clinching the 2018 World Series, the Boston Red Sox stand as a testament to the New England values of hard work and perseverance," said Senator Collins.  "This resolution not only recognizes the commitment, skill, and leadership exhibited by the team, but it also expresses the gratitude from all of us who make up Red Sox Nation.  Congratulations to the Red Sox on an extraordinary season!"

"Congratulations to the terrific 2018 World Series Champions, the Boston Red Sox," said Congressman Neal. "They played with grit and glory, and made the region proud. We're happy to celebrate with you and look forward to yet another triumphant season of baseball."

"Congratulations to the Red Sox on their historic World Series win," said Congressman McGovern. "I'm so proud of all they accomplished this season, and all the hard work this victory represents. Their tenacity, teamwork, and pride in Massachusetts is an inspiration to us all."

"Sports have always had the power of bringing people together, and the Boston Red Sox have given the New England community another reason to unite and celebrate," said Congressman Lynch. "Congratulations to the entire Red Sox organization on winning their ninth World Series, a fine example of what you can accomplish through perseverance and teamwork.  Go Red Sox!"

"Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox on winning their fourth World Series championship in the last 15 years," said Congresswoman Tsongas. "Many of this year's bright young stars - including Mookie Betts, Jackie Bradley Jr., and Andrew Benintendi - took some of their first professional swings at Edward A. LaLacheur Park in Lowell, home of the Red Sox' Class-A Short Season affiliate, the Lowell Spinners. Throughout the Third District and the Commonwealth, members of Red Sox Nation are proud of your 'damage done' during the regular season and postseason, and we look forward to the beginning of spring - and another championship season - when pitchers and catchers report to Fort Myers this February."

"We have come to expect a high standard from teams here in Massachusetts, but this Red Sox team unsurprisingly rose above even those lofty goals and compiled the best season in team history," said Congressman Bill Keating. "I am also very proud of the nine Cape Cod Baseball League alumni on this Red Sox team, from World Series MVP Steve Pearce to ALCS MVP Jackie Bradley Jr. to ace Chris Sale, and new household names like Mitch Moreland, Matt Barnes and Joe Kelly. They have been Cape League legends for some time, and it is nice to see the rest of the nation recognize their brilliance. Congratulations to the entire organization on a great season."

"In less than a year on this earth, my son James has witnessed a Red Sox World Series parade, a tough Patriots Super Bowl loss, a Celtics team one win away from the NBA Finals, and a Bruins playoff run," said Congressman Kennedy. "It's going to be really hard to explain to him what growing up in the 80s and 90s was like for Boston fans but hopefully this Resolution helps."

"Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox on their ninth World Series victory! Their legacy of hard work, determination, and teamwork make New Englanders proud to call the Red Sox our home team every day," said Congresswoman Clark. "To all of Red Sox nation, congratulations on another historic win!"

"I waited 26 years for my first World Series win-my daughter got hers after 18 days," said Congressman Moulton. "Congrats to the Red Sox! You make us proud."
