Help With A Federal Agency

If you need assistance with any issues involving a federal agency, Senator Hassan may be able to help. One of the Senator’s key responsibilities is helping Granite Staters identify federal resources and solve problems related to federal agencies.

Senator Hassan can help on various matters, including:

  • Citizenship
  • Housing
  • Small business
  • IRS/taxes
  • Passports and travel abroad
  • Social security benefits,
  • Or any other federally related issue

While our office cannot guarantee a favorable outcome, we will do our best to obtain a fair and timely response to your concerns. In instances where the issue does not involve a federal agency (such as judicial or state matters), our office will make every effort to direct you to the appropriate resources.

The Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. § 552a) requires that Members of Congress or their staff have written authorization before they can obtain information about an individual’s case. Before our office can look into any federally-related matter on your behalf, you must complete and sign a privacy release form. If you are inquiring on behalf of someone, that person must sign the form.

If you require assistance with an immigration issue pending with USCIS, click here to download the specific form needed for that agency as well.
